We’ve noticed Illustrator can take a bit longer to load when starting up. Choose your “Persistent” brushes wisely and avoid having tons of Brushes selected with this option.
Install Brushes as a default in Illustrator
Don’t want to install your Illustrator Brushes over and over again? Understandable. Below, we’ll explain two methods to do this.
Method 1:
When you’ve already installed the brushes, open the Brush Panel of the Brush set you want to add.
Click on the hamburger menu in the top left corner and select “Persistent”’. That’s it!
Method 2:
In your Finder, go to “Applications”.
Click on the version of Adobe Illustrator that you’re using.
Open the “Presets” folder and go to “Brushes”
Create a new folder in the Brushes folder named “Topia Supply”.
Copy your .ai brush files from the product folder and paste it in the new Topia Supply folder.
Go to Window > Brushes and click on the Brush Libraries Menu on the bottom left corner of the Panel.
When you unfold “Topia Supply” you’ll find all the brushes you’ve pasted in that folder in Finder.
